“WAVE Trust, a UK charity, is raising awareness in Devon with a new campaign to reduce child maltreatment by 70 percent by 2030.”

The 70/30 campaign, as well as one of its ambassadors, Rob Robinson featured in a July 2016 issue of the Exeter Daily. It highlights the uncomfortable issue of child abuse, the aims of 70/30 campaign goes into detail regarding Rob’s successful meeting with Neil Parish, the MP for Tiverton and Honiton.

Councillor David Harrison, New Forest District Council – 1001 Critical Days

I am very grateful to Alex Williamson for popping along to our local Councillor Surgery this evening and to talk us through a cross party campaign about the importance of supporting children from conception to the Age Two period.

There is a growing cross-party consensus that investment in good parenting can vastly improve life chances for children saving huge amounts of money later on.

The evidence is well researched and it was rather fitting that his audience included conservative Councillors, not least because the Tories at Hampshire only last week decided to close Children’s Centre’s throughout the County.
