Final results of the 70/30 Short Film Contest 2017



                             Congratulations to all our winners! to all the winners of our
70/ Short Film Contes .   
Joint Overall Winners:

Amelia Simpson and Sam Sutherland

Both films met the criteria set by the judges, convey the 70/30 message in a powerful way, are creative and able to make an immediate contribution to the 70/30 campaign.


The £1,000 prize will be shared equally between them, and their schools will share the £750 prize for
the winning school.

Popular Choice Award
Ethan Barrett

Ethan’s film received the highest number of votes by the public. The film is of high quality but lacks some of the requested key messages. More than one of our judges said it should receive a special mention.

Runners Up
Ophelia Akande


This film lost points because it did not follow the criteria set for the contest. It is being awarded a runners-up prize because of the originality, creativity and quality of the film.

Nancy-Belle Hannah-Griffiths


This is an excellent film, with the theme of the damage done to children by domestic violence.
It came third in the contest, narrowly missing out on sharing the first prize.
