Axminster 70/30 Ambassadors, Emily Traynor & Rob Robinson had a blast at last weekend’s Cherry Fayre.
The event, hosted by local group, Light Up Axminster, was organised in aid of raising funds for Axminster’s christmas lights. Many people came together to enjoy a weekend filled with fun activities and all in the name of a great cause!
Rob & Emily held their own stall raising awareness for their local 70/30 activity, handing out leaflets and other material. They also made sure to involve the kids as well as the adults by offering out well-decorated cupcakes, painting their faces as tigers, lions and butterflies and setting up an artwork corner. The kids worked together to produce a poster representing their community and the outcome is truly fantastic (see above)!
The group made the local paper and their artwork made a massive impact and now has pride of place in the local Coop for all to see!
